A will, drafted in ten minutes. For free.

  1. 01

    What this service is

WAWL Chambers offers a guided drafting flow that produces a will-ready document at no cost. We are an Advocates & Solicitors firm in Malaysia. Drafting is provided as a public service.

  2. 02

    What this service is not

The output of this flow is a draft template based on the information you provide. It is not legal advice and does not, by itself, create a solicitor-client relationship. Your draft does not become a legally valid will until it is signed and witnessed in accordance with the Wills Act 1959 (or, for Muslim Malaysians, executed in accordance with Faraid principles).

  3. 03

    Witness requirement

A will is only valid if signed by you in the presence of at least two non-related witnesses who are not named as beneficiaries. We offer a paid lawyer review and witness session (RM 1,000) where one of our lawyers personally reviews your will and acts as witness.

  4. 04

    Edits

After your draft is generated you may edit it once per 30 days. This is to keep your will record stable and reduce the risk of inconsistent versions being signed.

  5. 05

    Confidentiality and data

Information you provide is processed for the sole purpose of generating your draft. We do not share your personal information with third parties. You may request deletion at any time.

  6. 06

    Limit of responsibility

WAWL Chambers does not accept liability for outcomes arising from a draft will that has not been reviewed and witnessed by our lawyers. If your circumstances are complex (cross-border assets, business ownership, blended families, dependents with special needs), we strongly recommend the paid review session.

Disclaimer

This draft is generated solely from the information you input. It is not legal advice and does not become a valid will until signed and witnessed under the Wills Act 1959. Will drafting can be complicated depending on your circumstances and the types of assets involved (cross-border holdings, business interests, blended families, dependents with special needs) — we strongly advise consulting a lawyer before relying on the draft.
